Cloverdale Youth Soccer League is a non-profit run by volunteer coaches and board members to provide recreational and competitive soccer to youth in the Cloverdale Area.
Our teams are divided into boys and girls’ teams in six age groups: Under 6 (U6), 6-7 (U8), 8-9 (U10), 10-11 (U12), 12-13(U14), and 14-15(U16). Each team has a roster of eight to eighteen players. That’s a lot of young athletes ~ not to mention a season of active, outdoor fun for our kids!
Each team plays 9-10 games. The U6 and U8 teams play all of their games in Cloverdale while the older teams play in Cloverdale, Healdsburg, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Windsor, and Napa.
Our Mission:
The purpose of the Cloverdale Youth Soccer League (CYSL) is to develop, promote, and administer the game of soccer for the boys and girls under 19 years of age in the Cloverdale area. CYSL wants to provide the appropriate level of competitions by providing competitive level and recreation level teams and want to ensure equal treatment for both. CYSL encourages the development of the fundamental skills of soccer and the spirit of team play; additionally, it encourages coaches to attend seminars and clinics to aid them in their instruction of the players. Safety, sportsmanship and enjoyment of the game should be stressed by coaches and representatives of the league. The CYSL board should be an impartial group who sets and administers policy toward these ends and should be able to handle disputes and problems stemming form Cloverdale Youth Soccer League Play.
